Aroma Rich toffee, stewed apple, roasted peach with a hint of saltiness, followed by sweet honey smoke and accents of raspberry jam.
Proef Dark fruit and sticky toffee are accompanied by ripe stone fruit and smoky bacon.
Uitgang Salted caramel, blackberries and tobacco lead to a dry finish with oak notes and pleasant nuances of white pepper.

Beschrijving van het product
The smoky 1770 Glasgow Marsala Cask from the Small Batch Series matured in Marsala Wine barriques, which combine fruity notes with facets of smoky bacon and salted caramel thanks to the pre-coating with the Italian liqueur wine. The Lowlands Single Malt was bottled after 7 years at a massive 60.2% vol. without chill-filtering and without colour added at cask strength. 1770 Glasgow comes from the Scottish city of the same name. The Glasgow Distillery Company was founded in 2014 and is the first single malt distillery in Glasgow since 1902, producing single malt from Scottish barley and water from Loch Katrine in the old tradition.

Aroma: Sattes Toffee, Apfelkompott, gerösteter Pfirsich mit einem Hauch von Salzigkeit, gefolgt von süßem Honigrauch und Akzenten von Himbeerkonfitüre.

Geschmack: Dunkle Früchte und klebriges Toffee werden von reifem Steinobst und rauchigem Speck begleitet.

Abgang: Salzkaramell, Brombeeren und Tabak münden in einem trockenem Finale mit Eichenholznoten und angenehmen Nuancen von weißem Pfeffer.
