AnCnoc, the brand of the Knockdhu Distillery in the East Highlands, founded in 1894, stands for the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern brand identity. With a focus on authenticity and accessibility, AnCnoc is aimed specifically at a new generation of whisky connoisseurs. The AnCnoc Smoky 10 Year Old has been matured in carefully selected American oak casks and is made with a rare Aberdeenshire peat, giving it an elegant wood smoke and subtle campfire flavours. Despite its smoky profile, it remains approachable and balanced - typical of the distillery's house style. Distillation is carried out traditionally in copper Pot Still stills, without automation, which gives the whisky clarity and expression. With its ten-year maturation period, Smoky 10 offers a modern interpretation of classic Highland flavours that appeals to experienced connoisseurs and beginners alike.
