Elixir Distillers is an independent bottler known for its carefully selected Single Malts from Scotland. The company places particular emphasis on transparency, quality and characterful whiskies that reflect the DNA of the respective distillery in an unadulterated way. The Small Batch series offers affordable, hand-picked Single Malts from small batches of casks (3-10 casks). All bottlings are released at a constant 48% vol. without chill-filtration and without colouring, and document the diversity and styles from Scotland's whisky landscapes. The Bunnahabhain 2018/2025 Peated Refill Hogsheads - Small Batch comes from the smoky branch of the Islay distillery and matured for 6 years in refill hogsheads (5 casks). Bottled at 48% vol., it shows the typical peat flavour of the island in combination with tangy lime, mineral notes and dark chocolate. An elegant, small batch that will appeal to fans of Islay smoky whiskies.

Bunnahabhain means 'river mouth' translated from Gaelic. The distillery is the northernmost on the island of Islay and is located about three kilometres from Port Askaig. It was built by the Greenless Brothers in 1881.
