Glenlossie The Three Witches of Sueno's Stone - Samhain Series Lady of the Glen 21 Jaar 2004/2025

The Glenlossie from the refill hogshead matured for 21 long years in the warehouses of the Speyside distillery. The result is a warming Single Malt with buttery flavours and orchard fruits that meet with vanilla and honey-glazed nuts. The whisky is part of the Samhain series from Lady of the Glen. The collection is a limited edition range from independent bottler Hannah Whisky Merchants from Fife, founded in 2012 by Gregor Hannah. Each edition comes from single casks of renowned Scottish distilleries from Speyside, Highlands, Lowlands and Islay and is bottled unfiltered, uncoloured and at cask strength to preserve the character of the whisky unadulterated. The range honours the Celtic festival of Samhain, which marks the transition from harvest time to winter and is known for its stories of ghosts and mythical creatures. Each bottle features a hand-drawn label by Scottish artist Steven Shand, each graphically depicting one of these legends - the motif for The Three Witches of Sueno's Stone is dedicated to an impressive Pictish stone near Forres in Scotland, whose history is linked to supernatural motifs. The three witches are holding a séance around a campfire by the legendary stone.
