At our Whisky.de Live Event, you can taste our four specially composed whiskies Haggis, Highland Cattle, Whisky.de Malt by Horst Lüning and Unicorn with Ben and Horst Lüning. We actively designed the flavours of the Blended Malt Scotch Whiskies in a creative process. Haggis takes its name from the Scottish mythical creature and its flavour is based on the Scottish national dish in terms of its spiciness. Highland Cattle matured predominantly in former sherry casks, while the Whisky.de malt was blended from Bourbon and sherry casks by Horst Lüning exactly according to his ideas. The Unicorn is the mystical, smoky counterpart and is particularly suitable for lovers of smoky whiskies.

All four Whisky.de creations will be available to view and taste together with Ben and Horst Lüning at our Whisky.de Beginner Live Tasting on 26 December 2025 from 19:00. The tasting will also be held in English afterwards. The Miniature Rum Tasting Box from Wagemut combines six selected 0.02 litre miniatures with rum Types from different origins and production styles from Belize, Barbados, Jamaica and Martinique. Each sample represents a different style and shows the diversity of Caribbean rum culture. Wagemut stands for passion, craftsmanship and a special focus on barrel, wood and maturation details. The box also contains an information card with all the important details about the individual rums, including producer, alcohol content, age, barrel type and more. A compact, high-quality tasting experience for explorers and connoisseurs.

On 30 January 2026 from 19:00, Master Taster Ben Lüning and Brand Ambassador Bastian Denkler, who is also Sales Manager at Prineus, will be tasting three exceptional Indri Single Malts. Piccadily is the largest independent producer and seller of whisky and other malt spirits in India. The tastings will include the gently smoky Indri Agneya, matured in sherry and bourbon casks, the Indri Dru Single Malt, made from the classic 6-row Indian barley and matured in ex-bourbon casks, and the Indri Dru Single Malt, made from the classic 6-row Indian barley and matured in ex-bourbon casks.barrels and the Indri Trini The Three Wood, which was matured in a combination of first fill Bourbon, ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry and French wine barrels. Jürgen Deibel is the author of numerous books and Germany's first full-time spirits expert. On the tasting day, starting at 19:00, the two professionals will take on the Speyburn matured in rum casks, the 15-year-old and the 18-year-old Single Malt in their drams and talk about interesting background information, the Speyside distillery and what the whiskies have to offer in terms of flavour. Speyburn is one of Scotland's most beautifully situated distilleries. Brothers John and Edward Hopkins founded the distillery in 1897, the year chosen for the opening because Queen Victoria celebrated her 60-year reign in 1897. Look forward to an extensive live tasting with three treasures from Speyside! At 20:00, the tasting will also be held in English .
