With the 17-year-old Between You & I, the Highland Park distillery presents the second bottling in its new and strictly limited series. Created in collaboration with the Swedish three-star chef Björn Frantzén, this Single Malt Whisky combines the craftsmanship of the Orkney distillery with culinary creativity. This edition, created exclusively for Travel Retail, is a whisky that, like the 16-year-old first release, invites you to get to know and experience it personally. Instead of fixed tasting notes, the focus here is on the taster's individual interpretation. The bottling is designed to stimulate dialogue between whisky lovers and invite them to talk shop. Björn Frantzén, known for his unique combination of Nordic ingredients, French cooking techniques and Japanese philosophy, has been awarded three Michelin stars. This Highland Park whisky was first matured in French oak casks that had previously been pre-matured with red wine, giving it a pronounced and jammy depth. The Orkney malt was complemented by the gentle vanilla notes of American sherry casks and the maturation in refill casks gives it a pleasant finish. The result is a rich, fruity and wonderfully balanced whisky that invites you to explore and savour.
