Product description
Amrut Fusion owes its name to the fact that both Indian and Scottish barley were used for this whisky. Indian mythology tells of gods and demons who mixed the ocean in prehistoric times with the help of the mountains. Suddenly a golden pot sprang from the water, containing the elixir of life. This they called Amrut. Modern Amrut has its roots immediately after the end of British colonial rule in 1948, when Indians began to distil their own whisky.
