Product description
The Appleton Estate Reserve Rum was produced to celebrate the distillery's 250th anniversary and contains selected Pot Still reserves from its renowned stock. The maturation period of at least eight years, the Jamaican climate and the limestone-filtered water used in the production of this rum give it its complex character. Appleton Estate was founded in 1749 in Nassau Valley, making it the oldest distillery on the island. The distillery includes sugar cane plantations as well as its own spring and yeast cultivation. The rum is traditionally produced here using the elaborate Pot Still process with ingredients from the estate's own production.
