Bimber Imperial Stout Cask Finish from the New Vibrations series is a Single Malt that has been refined in an Imperial Stout Cask. Imperial Stout is a top-fermented beer and is known for its rich, complex flavour. The beer usually has a strong malt character with notes of dark chocolate, coffee and roasted caramel. At Bimber, almost the entire production process, from growing the grain to bottling, takes place on the premises of the English distillery itself. Only the malting of the barley is outsourced to a malt house, which has reserved an entire malting floor exclusively for Bimber. The Single Malt was bottled at cask strength at 56.8% vol. without the addition of colour and without chill-filtering.
