Bruadar (Gaelic: dream) is the whisky version of the old English favourite sloe gin, i.e. gin flavoured with sloes. Instead of gin, of course, the Scottish national drink Uisge Beatha - better known as whisky - is used here, which is mixed with honey and sloes. With the new design, the alcohol content of the liqueur has also been raised.

    Aroma: Süß, sehr weich. Caramel NutmegHoney

    Geschmack: Deckt sich mit dem Aroma.

    Abgang: sehr angenehm, ebenfalls weich.

    Kommentar: Eine schöne Erinnerung an einen verregneten Tag am Edinburgh Castle, wo uns Bruadar von innen gewärmt hat. Zugegeben, die schöne Erinnerung bestimmt unser Urteil mit.

    Geschmack: Süß, süß. Gummibärchen. Kein Whisky, kein Rauch, keine Schlehe.

    Abgang: Minimal Honig, wenn man sich viel Zeit nimmt und die starke Süße erträgt.

    Kommentar: Fast eklig, sehr enttäuschend. Sweet Sweet Tropical Fruit Weder Honig noch Whisky noch Schlehe finden sich. Schmeckt wie Red Bull mit Alkohol. Es war mir beim Kosten peinlich, die Flasche verschenkt zu haben.

    Kommentar: In der Nase sehr süß, Honig, leichte Zitrusfrüchte, überreife Banane. Sehr weich, süß, mild im Mund mit tropischen Früchten, Honig und einer floralen Note. Sehr kurzer Abgang, süß, Honig, minimale Würze.
    Im Geschmack habe ich etwas, dass ich nicht genauer beschreiben kann, was aber leicht störend bzw. künstlich wirkt. Insgesamt recht schwach auf der Brust. Könnte für meinen Geschmack eine höhere Alkoholstärke haben, damit er weniger wässrig rüber kommt.

    Kommentar: Ganz spontan: Gummibärchen! Leicht aber eindeutig Gummibärchen !!! Süße gut - nicht zu viel, nicht zu wenig- passt! Alkohol - leider eindeutig zu wenig!!! Schade- mit 35% wären es sicher 4,5 * - so leider nur 3,5. Sehr schade...
