The Old Bushmills Distillery is probably the oldest licensed Whiskey distillery in the world - its licence dates back to 1608. It was officially founded in 1784 by Hugh Anderson in the Northern Irish town of Bushmills. Since then, Bushmills has been synonymous with traditionally triple-distilled, mild Irish Whiskey. Kommentar: Dauerhaft angenehm mild. Definitiv ein Whisky für Einsteiger und Leute, die es etwas süßer und einfacher mögen. Wäre für mich ein Whisky den man täglich trinken kann, bzw. der nicht nur zu bestimmten Anlässen angefasst wird. Dazu vom Preis top und durchaus länger anhaltend im Geschmack. Bei keinem anderem Whisky rieche und schmecke ich Vanille so deutlich wie hier.
