George Clooney and his crew of friends and acquaintances also use 100% blue Weber agave for Casamigos Blanco (also known as Silver), as they do for its two siblings, Reposado and Añejo. The agaves are harvested by hand by the experienced jimadores. After cooking, crushing and mashing, the tequila is double distilled and then left to rest for another 2 months before being bottled in a smooth and balanced way. The special thing about this tequila is the particularly long fermentation process of 80 hours (instead of the usual 48), which ensures even more depth and character.
