Clarendon Single Cask Jamaica Rum – The Mask Series 19 Years 2007/2026

With this release from Wu Dram Clan’s popular The Mask Series, the journey takes us once again to Jamaica and the renowned Clarendon Distillery, one of the island’s most historic and, at the same time, most exciting rum distilleries. This exceptional single-cask bottling combines decades of ageing, authentic Jamaican character and impressive cask strength to create a rum for discerning connoisseurs and collectors. This Pot Still rum was distilled in May 2007 at the Clarendon Distillery and subsequently stored in a first-fill Bourbon cask for maturation. In total, the rum was allowed to mature for a full 19 years, a remarkable 14 of which were spent under tropical conditions right here in Jamaica. The long tropical ageing ensures an exceptional concentration of aromas, intense fruity notes and an impressive complexity found in very few rums of this age. In the glass, the rum is multi-layered, powerful and yet elegant. Ripe mango, passion fruit, melon and fresh gooseberries blend with characteristic Jamaican esters, subtle spice notes and a deep aromatic intensity. Despite its high cask strength of 65.9% vol., the rum remains remarkably balanced, lively and harmonious.

This strictly limited Single Cask Edition was bottled in June 2026 at natural cask strength. Naturally, the rum has been neither coloured nor chill-filtered, ensuring that its authentic character and full range of aromas remain unadulterated. With just 228 bottles worldwide, this bottling ranks among the rarest highlights for connoisseurs of premium Jamaican rums.
