Cragganmore impresses with a very good balance. Aroma, Taste and finish harmonise exceptionally well. The 12-year-old is malty dry and slightly smoky. This malt is for delicate palates. There are no superficial, strong flavours. Rather, this malt shines with an elegant balance that has rarely been achieved so well.

Cragganmore was the first distillery in Scotland to have its site selected and be built specifically to take advantage of its proximity to the Strathspey Railway. John Smith, who had previously been involved with Macallan, Glenlivet and Glenfarclas distilleries, founded Cragganmore in 1869. Cragganmore distillery is one of the most prolific in the Banffshire region of Speyside, where the distillery is located. Abgang: unangenehm

Kommentar: Erstmals bestellt am 01.11.2025. Vielleicht eine schlechte Abfüllung, aber dieser Whisky schmeckt überhaupt nicht. Nur stark, keine erkennbaren Geschmacksnoten, nichts. Insgesamt einfach nur unangenehm, beim Trinken direkt und auch im Abgang/ im Nachgeschmack. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert.
