Ezra Brooks 99 is bottled at exactly 99 proof, i.e. 49.5% vol. Beforehand, the Kentucky Straight Bourbon is filtered through a layer of activated charcoal. This results in a particularly mild character. Since 2018, the Ezra Brooks range has been produced in Bardstown at Lux Row Distillers.

    Kommentar: Kräftiger, aber nicht zu scharfer Geschmack. Trotz der 49,5% auch ohne Wasserzugabe gut trinkbar, öffnet sich aber durch minimale Zugabe und wird noch runder.

    Abgang: trocken, leichte Eiche, dezente süße, Vanille und Karamell, etwas frische

    Kommentar: Der ist nicht schlecht, war mir aber ein bisschen zu heftig. Also habe ich ihn bis zu meinem "Wohlfühl%" verdünnt. Nun wirkt er auf mich wie der Standard-Ezra - also bleibe ich gleich bei dem.
