Product description
This bottling is dedicated to the Platypus, a curiosity from the east and south-east of Australia. Platypuses are mammals that lay eggs and look like a beaver with a duck's beak and an otter's face. The molasses rum comes from Beenleigh Artisan Distillers and is distilled on Pot Still and column stills and matured for 5 years in bourbon barrels under the Australian sun before being refined for a further two years in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels in Europe. The rum experience was then bottled by the Flensburg Rum Company in Germany, neither coloured nor sweetened with an alcohol content of 46% vol. The rum, a tribute to the platypus, is therefore a real globetrotter.

Geschmack: Die Würze setzt sich fort, begleitet von weicher Vanille, Beerennoten, Rosinen, Karamell und Pfeffer.
