Aroma Lightly roasted banana and rye bread, followed by fine citrus notes of lemon and orange peel with mild honey and vanilla.
Taste Warm, with ripe oranges and a pinch of pepper combine with cloudy honey and nuances of salted buttered bread. Orange oil with rich vanilla cream is added.
Finish Persistent spice and pepper with orange blossom honey.

Product description
This molasses rum comes from Fiji's first rum distillery and is produced using the column still method from a local sugar cane variety. After maturing for a year in American oak barrels on the island, the rum was aged for ten years in former bourbon barrels in Scotland. After 11 years, the rum was then bottled at 48% vol. in 2025 and impresses with facets of ripe orange peel, honey notes and delicate hints of vanilla on the tongue and palate.

    Aroma: Leicht geröstete Banane und Roggenbrot, dann folgen feine Zitrusnoten von Zitronen- und Orangenschale mit mildem Honig und Vanille.

    Geschmack: Warm, mit reifen Orangen und einer Prise Pfeffer verbinden sich mit trübem Honig und Nuancen eines gesalzenen Butterbrots. Orangenöl mit reichhaltiger Vanillecreme kommen hinzu.

    Abgang: Anhaltende Würze und Pfeffer mit Orangenblütenhonig.
