The George Dickel Rye is made from 95% rye and 5% malted barley. Like all whiskies from George A. Dickel, the Rye is filtered with charcoal from native sugar maple.

    Abgang: schöner, recht langer weich wärmender Abgang mit Roggen und milder Schärfe; im Hintergrund KaramellSpices Caramel

    Kommentar: Ein toller Rye, ziemlich Facettenreich; wenn man häufiger nachschenkt kommen wahrscheinlich noch mehr Geschmacksnoten zur Geltung; auf jeden Fall einer meiner Favoriten.

    Kommentar: In finde zwei Aspekte: Einerseits würzig und floral, andererseits malzig und etwas herb, wie Roggenbrot mit einer Tasse Espresso. Die beiden Geschmacksrichtungen stehen nebeneinander. Ob man dies nun als mehrschichtig oder schlecht eingebunden bezeichnet, ist Ansichtssache. Insgesamt i.O, aber nicht mein Favorit unter den Rye.
    Distilled in Indiana, also ein Grundprodukt vom MGP.
