The Glen Elgin 14 Year Old 100 Proof Edition #82 is an expressive Speyside Single Malt Whisky, selected by the renowned independent bottler Signatory Vintage. Since 1988, Signatory Vintage has been synonymous with high-quality single cask and small batch bottlings that preserve the original character of each distillery. The popular 100 Proof Edition brings together carefully selected whiskies with a robust alcohol content of 57.1% ABV – in line with the traditional British measure of 100 proof. All bottlings in this series are neither chill-filtered nor coloured, offering a particularly intense tasting experience. The Glen Elgin Distillery is one of the classic Speyside distilleries and is known for its elegant, fruit-forward and honey-sweet whisky. This 14-year-old Single Malt was finished in Oloroso sherry butts, complementing the distillery’s typical characteristics with intense sherry aromas, dark fruits and spicy oak notes. The result is a complex whisky that combines the refined elegance of Glen Elgin with the robust aromas of high-quality Oloroso casks.
