This Glen Moray is the fourth Single Malt with a wine cask finish in the Elgin Classic series. In addition to Chardonnay, Sherry and Port, the distillery also finishes its malt in Cabernet red wine casks.

Kommentar: Der "Chardonnay Cask" ist auf der süßen Seite. Beim Cabernet liegt die Süße mit einer gewissen Herbheit in interessantem Wettstreit.

Kommentar: Dies ist mein erster Whisky mit Wein-Finish. Persönlich sehr begeistert. Der Cabernet Finish macht diesen jungen Whisky überraschend komplex und Lust auf noch viele weitere Proben mit Weinfinish. Durch den tollen Preis eine Flasche, die ich in meinem Regal nicht mehr missen will. Kaufempfehlung!
