Product description
The Glen Scotia distillery was founded in Campbeltown in 1832. By using traditional copper stills, the fruit and spice aromas typical of Glen Scotia are created. This bottling from the distillery's new series was matured for 15 years in ex-bourbon casks. Now the Single Malt is also available in a new design.

Aroma: Fruchtige Anklänge mit einem leichtem Rauch (maximal 6 bis 8 PPM): Madarinen, Orange und Butterblumen. Insgesamt leicht salzig und herb.

Geschmack: Fruchtig, etwas herb und süßlich: Leichter Torf mit fruchtig-pikanten Obst-Kompott und Karamell garniert.

Abgang: Mittel. Schön abgerundet mit dezenten Torf- und Fruchtaromen.

Kommentar: Klassischer Campletown-Whisky! Gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis, Altersangabe, Alkoholangabe alles stimmt soweit. Die Reifung in Ex-Bourbonfässern ist sehr gelungen! Dennoch fehlt noch etwas! Deswegen nur 4 Sterne!
