Product description
This 26-year-old whisky from the Glen Scotia distillery, which has been matured in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead since 2021, is characterised by notes of molasses, maraschino cherry juice, blood orange, sea salt and miso. It is the oldest Single Malt bottling in the Chairman's Stock range and was bottled exclusively for the German market at 52.8% vol. at natural cask strength. Scotland's oldest independent bottler WM Cadenhead Ltd. presents a selection of casks from the private collection of the late Chairman Hedley G. Wright with the traditional "Chairman's Stock" series. The bottlings are released in small batches in order to conserve the limited stock. The range includes single cask whiskies at cask strength, which differ in age and cask type, further emphasising the variety of flavours of the exclusive whiskies.
