The 10-year-old is the first Gold Cock whisky distilled in Arnold Holstein Pot Stills and bottled at 49.2% alcohol. Gold Cock is the Czech Republic's oldest whisky brand. The Rudolf Jelínek distillery was founded as early as 1894. In addition to its renowned fruit brandies and liqueurs, it also distils Single Malt Whisky.

    Kommentar: im Abgang macht sich der hohe Alkohol Gehalt bemerkbar, mit etwas Wasser kommen die Aromen meiner Meinung besser zur Geltung.
    Für den Preis ist es definitiv eine Alternative zu den Schotten.

    Ich werde ihn wieder kaufen

    Im Geruch zunächst sehr mild. Leichte Eiche und ein Geruch, denn ich leider nicht zuordnen kann.
    Im Geschmack sehr süß. Dann entwickelt sich ein hauch von Frucht und Eiche.
    Im Abgang Eiche und nach dem zweiten schluck bei mir auch eine angenehme Schärfe, die ich nach dem ersten Schluck aber noch nicht hatte.

    Preis/Leistung stimmt bei dem Whisky!
