Product description
Produced using unique and sometimes secret methods that have remained unchanged since the 18th century, this 8-year-old rum is the flagship of Hampden Estate Rum's range. It embodies the aromatic complexity and versatility for which the history-rich distillery is renowned. The water for the production is taken from a nearby mountain spring, filtered and reprocessed after use before being returned to nature. The molasses rum is distilled in four copper Pot Stills and matured for 8 years in the tropical climate of the Caribbean island state, which corresponds to almost 25 years of maturation in the European climate. The result is bottled at 46% vol. without added sugar or colouring.

Ein intensiver Rum mit komplexen Aromen von Banane, Schokolade und Ingwer. Der Geschmack ist würzig, leicht süß und ohne Zuckerzusatz angenehm authentisch. Der Abgang überzeugt mit sanften Honignoten und bleibt lange präsent. Perfekt für Genießer kräftiger Rums.
