This Highland Park matured for 25 years in a high proportion of first fill sherry casks. The Single Malt surprises the senses with strong vanilla, white chocolate and spices. The variety of flavours culminates in a delicately smoky finish. The old bottlings from Highland Park are becoming increasingly rare.

    Nase: Sehr fein, rund und alt, ich vernehme keinen Rauch, eher eine liebliche Sherrynote. Der wirkt sehr gehaltvoll.

    Geschmack: voluminös, edel und alt. Hier kommt nun das Fass hervor, der Sherry nimmt sich zurück. Er wirkt stärker als der jüngere Bruder mit 21 Jahren. Eine Freude.

    Abgang: Lang und fruchtig, sehr aromatisch. Herrlich!
