    Kommentar: Sehr schön gealtert dieser HP, Aromen vom Scherryfass, Heidekraut, Honig mit Früchten und Schokolade. Würze und Eiche zum Ende. Eine Weile im Glas atmen lassen tut ihm sehr gut, die Früchte kommen dann deutlich hervor.

    Aroma: Man spürt einerseits das hohe Alter aufgrund ein paar gesetzterer Töne, aber trotzdem bleibt er leicht und smooth, ganz zart rauchig, und dann ziemlich vielschichtig fruchtig, wobei aber dann die Trockenfrüchte die Vorherrschaft übernehmen und etwas Florales, wie Heidekraut, und nicht zuletzt auch etwas Würziges; sehr komplex, aber alles sehr sanft und subtil.

    Geschmack: Zuerst zeigt er auch im Mund durch ein etwas gesetzteres Verhalten das hohe Alter; Eichenwürze schon früh aufkommend, dann aber wird er unglaublich süss, richtig süsse rote Früchte, wie zu Sirup verarbeitet.

    Abgang: Im Abgang dann kommt wieder die Würze der Fässer, die recht lange zu verbleiben vermag.

    Kommentar: Komplexer, spannender Whisky, wie man es von einem 21-jährigen Highland Park auch erwartet.
