Product description

This Indri Single Malt, from the village of the same name in the catchment area of the Yamuna River, is made from the classic 6-row Indian barley, which has been cultivated for hundreds of years. The Sanskrit on the bottle refers to the five senses of Indriya: smell, taste, sight, touch and hearing. First fill Bourbon, ex-PX sherry and French wine barrels were used for the maturation. For ideal enjoyment in company, this bottling comes in a beautiful gift box with two glasses bearing the distillery's calligraphed logo!

Aroma: Warmer Malz ton, Eiche/Bourbon, Rotes Fruchtkompott - mit Kirschen, Himbeeren und Erdbeeren, Früchte heller werdend - Roter Apfel, Aprikose, feines Zimt

Geschmack: Bourbon mit roten Früchten, Getreidebrei mit Milch und roten Früchten u.a. Johannisbeere, tiefe warme Eiche (wie von einem alt gereiften Whisky), Früchte und Beeren wechseln sich ständig ab, mal jung, Kompott, mal hell, mal würzig, ...

Kommentar: Indri Three Wood überzeugt hier nicht nur mit seinem tollen Single Malt. Die Flasche mit den beiden Gläsern in der GP ist ein "dickes Ding", da hat man als Schenkender ordentlich was in der Hand.
