Johnnie Walker & Sons XR 19 is a special edition made from some of the best malts and grain whiskies from favourite Scottish distilleries. Strathmill, Glen Elgin and the already closed Port Dundas Distillery each supplied whiskies matured for at least 19 years in American oak casks, which were carefully blended together. The decanter is an eye-catcher in any whisky collection. Each bottle is individually numbered.

    Sweet Honey Spices Caramel

    Bestellt nachdem mich der XR 21 abgeholt hatte. Auch dieser etwas jüngere Vertreter allerdings in 75cl, der XR21 war 1 Liter, muss sich nicht verstecken. Kein Rauch, süss und süffig. Rund und geschmeidig kommt er rüber. Den XR 23 muss ich dann auch mal probieren. XR Abfüllungen sind neben dem Blue Label allerdings auch das einzige, was ich von JW trinke, zu anspruchsvoll geworden vielleicht. Aber die andren farbigen Abfüllungen von JW haben mir nie gefallen
