Variety Single Malt Whisky
Aroma Intense with heather, sultanas, pears and orange peel. Stone fruits in combination with mixed spices and rich peat smoke.
Taste Ripe plums, red cherries and a hint of citrus, followed by intense peat smoke, caramel sweets, oak and dark chocolate.
Finish Mouth-filling and fruity with caramel, cinnamon and clove. Plus brown sugar, spices, peat smoke and a lingering sweetness.

Product description
Kilchoman Sanaig is named after the bay of Sanaigmore on the island of Islay. Originally, the first, limited bottling of Sanaig consisted of 30% bourbon casks and 70% Oloroso sherry casks. This made the Islay whisky a rich and fruity flavour experience, with a beautiful balance between smoky and subtle caramel notes.

After more than 125 years, the Kilchoman farm distillery is the first new distillery to be built on the island of Islay. At the distillery, which was founded in 2005 and produces a 100 per cent Islay Single Malt, all production steps are carried out on site, from the cultivation of the barley to the filling of the bottles. read more

    Kommentar: Den find ich besser als Laga...16 der seid vielen Jahren bei weitem nicht mehr das ist was er mal war. Kenne Lagavullin noch aus den 80er Jahren, da war das Zeug noch der Kracher, aber was die heutzutage auf den Markt werfen ist das Geld nicht mehr wert. Naja was solls, mit dem Sanaig hab ich ne gute Alternative.... Slainte m'ath
