Kyrö Sauna Stories No.2

Kyrö Sauna Stories No. 2 is the second edition of Kyrö Distillery's annual Sauna Stories series, which is deeply inspired by the Finnish sauna tradition. This 100% rye whisky was first matured in new American oak casks and then finished in apricot brandy casks - completed in a real Finnish sauna at around 55 °C, which gives the whisky its special depth and aromatic finesse. Bottled at 51% vol., it unfolds flavours of exotic wood, creamy vanilla, spicy notes, dried fruit and apricot on the palate, paired with peppery rye, warm oak and lively stone fruit. The limited bottling of 3,569 bottles emphasises Kyrö's creative combination of culture, craftsmanship and innovative maturation process.
