Product description

The Lind & Lime Gin is produced at the Port Leith Distillery in Edinburgh, Scotland. The goal of the Scottish gin makers was a balanced classic London Dry Gin with juniper, lime and pink pepper. The brand takes its name from Dr. James Lind, who, as a ship's doctor in the Royal Navy in the 18th century, discovered a treatment for scurvy using citrus fruits.

Lind & Lime is produced as sustainably as possible with 100% green electricity, organically grown ingredients and plastic- packaging.

The Distillery: Port of Leith

The Port of Leith Distillery is Scotland's first vertically arranged distillery and opened in October 2023 in Edinburgh's Leith harbour district, with distillation beginning in early 2024. Previously, the Tower Street Stillhouse served as the production centre for the distillery's Lind & Lime Gin. Today, production of its own Scotch Whisky is already in full swing.
