Product description
The Mackmyra Svensk Ek - Extra Rök was also rescued from the Swedish distillery's remaining stocks. The heavily smoky single malt matured in the Bodås mine in a cask made from Swedish oak (Svensk Ek). Bottled exclusively for Whisky.de, the whisky is smoky with delicate wood and vanilla notes at a pleasant 40.1% vol. Thanks to our excellent business relationship with Mackmyra, we were able to secure remaining stocks of the popular and exclusive whiskies from the Swedish distillery, which unfortunately had to file for bankruptcy in 2024. These include this strictly limited single malt, which was casked in 2013 and bottled in 2020.
