Product description
This Ledaig from the Tobermory distillery is a really smoky and complex malt that could have come from the island of Islay. Ledaig translates as safe haven. The new bottling of Ledaig was bottled by Burn Stewart with a higher alcohol content. The 12-year-old Bunnahabhain and the 10-year-old Tobermory also received this upgrade.

Kommentar: Ich hatte auch schon den 18er, ist noch ein Ticken besser aber von der PL ist der völlig ok. Die Nase überraschend leicht und fruchtig, wobei der Rauch natürlich trotzdem im Vordergrund steht. Im Geschmack kommt auch eine gewisse süße durch und der Rauch wirkt maritimer. Anschließend kann man Gewürze (am ehesten Pfeffer) und eine Spur von Nüssen wahnehmen. Der Abgang ist eher lang mit Rauch und Würze.
