Product description
A special selection of casks was put together for the St. Kilian Signature Edition 'Eight'. The whisky matured in casks made of: 2% acacia, 19% ex red wine Rioja, 43% ex rye whiskey, 9% Palatinate oak, 27% ex Bourbon. The St. Kilian distillery was built on the Scottish model and has been in operation since 2016. It is distilled on 6,000-litre copper stills from the Scottish company Forsyths in Rothes.

Aroma: Der Rauch diominiert, Lagerfeuer, abkühlende Asche

Geschmack: Kräftiger Antritt duch die 53,8 %, auch im Geschmackdominiert der Lagerfeuer-Rauch, dahinbter Malz, Honig und nur angedeutet die Zitrusfruchtigkeit des St. Kilian-Brennereicharakters

Abgang: Der Rauch geht hier über in würzige Fassaromen mit Eiche, Kaffee, dunkler Schokolade, Erst im Abgang und bei weiteren Schlucken kommen die Fassaromen deutlicher zum Vorschein

Kommentar: Wer rauchige Whiskys mag, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten, erst im Abgang und im 2 -3 Schluck kommen die Fassaromen stärker zum Vorschein
