Product description
Even the shape of the bottle of this Willet is reminiscent of the typical Pot Stills that belong to the heritage of the Willett distillery.
The Willett distillery was closed from the early 1980s until 1997. Since the reopening, they have been producing in the old Kentucky tradition with a Beer Still in combination with a Pot Still. The Pot Still, in combination with a high proportion of rye and barley, gives the Bourbon a more intensive character than the normal Bourbons from Kentucky.

Aroma: Karamell, Vanille, frisches Heu, helle fruchtige Noten

Geschmack: Karamellsüße, milde Eiche, Fruchtiges. Minze kann ich nicht finden, aber da ist schon etwas Pflanzlich-Kräuteriges.

Abgang:

Kommentar: Ein sehr aromatischer, komplexer Bourbon.
Beim Hineinschmecken lässt er dich die Billig-Bourbons vergessen.
Und dazu in einer Hingucker-Flasche!

Aroma:Würzig und intensiv mit Noten von Vanille, Harz und Nadelhölzern.

Geschmack: Vollmundig und süß auf der Zunge. Vanille, Kokos und Zimt werden von Eichenholz und etwas Minze begleitet.

Abgang: Mittellang und würzig süß mit Vanille und Holzrauch.
