Bottled by the innovative organic distillery Nc'Nean on the west coast of Scotland, this exclusive bottling is part of the "Aon" series, the Gaelic word for "one", and presents unique, hand-picked single cask bottlings. Each cask has been selected for its distinctive, delicious and unrepeatable character, making each bottle unique. This Nc'Nean Aon matured in an STR red wine cask and was bottled at natural cask strength at 59.8% vol. without chill filtration and in natural colour. Only 296 bottles of this edition were produced. As a B Corp certified distillery, Nc'Nean places great importance on sustainability, using 100% organic Scottish malted barley, renewable energy, environmentally friendly packaging and maintaining a carbon neutral footprint. Whisky.de is delighted to be able to offer this special edition exclusively to our customers in close cooperation with Nc'Nean.

The Nc'nean distillery on the Morvern Peninsula, which opened in March 2017, describes itself as Scotland's first organic Whisky distillery. The name is an abbreviation of Neachneohain, a ghost queen from Gaelic legends, and is pronounced 'Nook-knee-anne'. read more
