Product description
The Highland distillery Nc'nean is committed to ecological quality and sustainability. The new and slightly modified cask combination was also used here. STR red wine casks were used for 55%, 43% matured in bourbon casks and 2% in Oloroso sherry casks. The malt is not only made from organic barley, produced using 100% renewable energy. Organic is also bottled in bottles made from recycled glass.

The Nc'nean distillery on the Morvern Peninsula, which opened in March 2017, describes itself as Scotland's first organic Whisky distillery. The name is an abbreviation of Neachneohain, a ghost queen from Gaelic legends, and is pronounced 'Nook-knee-anne'. read more

    Heidekräuter und Zitrusfrüchte in der Nase. Fassgeruch mit leichter Würze.
    Geschmack:
    Der Geschmack ist vollmundig und süß auf der Zunge. Die Zitrusfrüchte treffen auf Butterkekse und salziges Karamell.
    Abgang:
    Würzige Kräuter im Abgang, die lange präsent sind. Die 46 % wirken nie aufdringlich.

    Man merkt das es ein noch junger (Batch 4)Malt ist, dennoch schmeckt man wo bei nc'nean die Reise hin führt

    Kommentar: würzig und süss und doch einen Ton bitter beim pfeffrigen Abgang. Ein sehr schöner Single Malt. Kaufe ich wieder.
