Old Perth Vintage Collection - Macallan & Highland Park 21 Years

The 21-year-old Old Perth is a strictly limited Blended Malt whisky from the Morrison company. In 2015, Single Malts from Highland Park and The Macallan came together in a rare vatting. The Highland Park was distilled in 2004 and had already been matured for over ten years, while the Macallan portion was significantly older. This exceptional combination then matured for a long time in Oloroso sherry butts, developing into a masterful Blend. After a decade of further maturation, the Old Perth 21 year old presents itself as a perfect whisky that impressively reflects the diversity of the brand and its uncompromising commitment to sherry cask maturation. A whisky for connoisseurs that has matured into an unforgettable experience through patience and precision. Perth was once the world capital of whisky blending. The Old Perth Blended Malts continue this tradition. They contain only malts from sherry casks from the Speyside region. In 2017, Morrison Distillers in Aberargie, Perthshire, began distilling its own Single Malt. The distillery is appropriately named Aberargie Distillery and is located on our family's 121-hectare farm just outside Perth. So far, there has only been one bottle sold at auction, and we are still looking forward to more of our own Single Malt bottlings.
