Product description
After maturing in ex-Bourbon casks, Penderyn Rich Oak received its finish in reconditioned ex-red wine casks. The casks were scraped, toasted and charred again so that the new, active wood layer gives the whisky a fruity and spicy character as well as fine oak notes. The Penderyn Rich Oak belongs to the Gold Range.

The Penderyn distillery is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales. It works with a very special distilling process in a so-called Faraday Still, which has been custom-made for Penderyn. In addition to the 'original' distillery, another Penderyn distillery opened on the northern coast of Wales at Lloyd Street in Llandudno in 2021. read more

    Kommentar: Schöner Whisky! Frisch, fruchtig, süß, aber auch würzig und herb. Ich geb 3,5*. Mitunter noch für unter 35€ zu haben. Das lohnt sich.

    Geschmack: Reich, komplex und cremig mit Noten von Vanille, Eiche und Zimt. Nussig mit Karamellbonbons.
    Abgang: Lang mit cremiger Vanille und Eichennoten.
