Penderyn Sherrywood is a fruity Single Malt Whisky from Wales. The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in selected oloroso sherry casks. It was not chill-filtered and bottled at a strong 46% vol.

The Penderyn distillery is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales. It works with a very special distilling process in a so-called Faraday Still, which has been custom-made for Penderyn. In addition to the 'original' distillery, another Penderyn distillery opened on the northern coast of Wales at Lloyd Street in Llandudno in 2021. read more

    Abgang: Spices Black Currant Marzipan, irgendwie trocken und doch frisch

    Kommentar: Mir gefällt die Johannisbeere.
    Ansonsten schön süß und frisch. Wenn der Preis im Rahmen ist (35-40€) durchaus lohnenswert. Mehr würde ich aber nicht ausgeben.
