Pendleton 1910 Bourbon pays homage to the founding year of the legendary Pendleton Round-Up, an Oregon rodeo that has celebrated the spirit of the American West for over a hundred years. This Straight American Bourbon is a blend of high and low rye bourbons, matured for ten years in American white oak barrels and brought to drinking strength with pure, glacier-fed spring water from Mt Hood in Oregon. Bottled at 90 proof (45 % vol.) by Hood River Distillers, part of Proximo Spirits, it reflects values such as hard work, strength of character and perseverance. The bottle is inspired by traditional saddlery, with detailed glass embossing and the famous Pendleton Round-Up Bucking Horse on the front - an eye-catcher in any whisky collection.

    Kommentar: Dieser Kentucky...äh, der kommt ja gar nicht aus Kentucky? Oregon Na sowas? Also dieser Straight Bourbon kann so einiges, und zwar mich, der nicht wirklich mit Rye zurecht kommt, etwas mit Rye versöhnen. Er ist ein typisch untypischer Rye, high rye, Bourbon...naja, irgendwie alles, aber auf GUT. Erinnert entfernt an Koval oder Widow Jane, was die Möbelpolitur - Note angeht, das meine ich nicht abwertend, denn zusammen mit den waldigen Rye Noten kommt das alles hervorragend in Nase und Mund. Glatte 3 Sternchen. Guter Spirit
