Product description
The OFTD Overproof Rum is a creation of rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbado. The rums consist of molasses and were distilled on Twin Column and Pot Stills before being bottled with a high alcohol content after blending - and as usual for an Overproof Rum. O.F.T.D. officially stands for Old Fashioned Traditional Dark. However, the master blenders and tasters involved also used the abbreviation as an exclamation during tasting and are probably the only ones who know the true meaning of this abbreviation.

Aroma: Intensiv, kräftige Gewürze, Vanille, das klassische Rumpotpuorrie

Geschmack: Pur nicht sinnvoll zu genießen, auf rund 48% verdünnt intensiv nach Trockenfrüchten, Weihnachtsgewürzen (Zimt, Nelken, Muskat) dazu etwas Eiche und dunkle Schokolade

Abgang: Die intensiven Gewürze und die Eiche bleiben, dazu wieder der dunkle Kakao

Kommentar: Eigentlich nur zum Kochen und Backen gekauft, kann man ihn auf zivile Stärke verdünnt auch sehr gut so genießen. Einfach ein richtig guter Rum
