Smokehead Rum Rebel matured in Caribbean rum casks and was then bottled at a strong 46%. The strong smoke in the Single Malt combines with the sweet and fruity flavours from the barrels to create an intense taste experience.

    Kommentar: Die Rumnote ist wahrnehmbar, ansonsten ein echter Smokehead, intensiv, war mal deutlich günstiger als die anderen, der Abstand ist jetzt geringer geworden, ist eine Entscheidung. Rein wegen der Abwechslung dennoch eine Empfehlung.

    Kommentar: Der Smokehead Rum Rebel ist für Liebhaber von Rauch und süße eine gute alternative und das Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis ist i.O.. Im Aroma kommt direkt der Rauch (~50 ppm), dahinter verbirgt sich die süße und eine Fruchtigkeit die in der tropischen Richtung zu verorten ist. Sehr süße früchte wie Banane/Ananas lassen sich erkennen. Im Geschmack dann weniger Komplex als im Aroma, Rauch und Süße aber deutlich zu vernehmen. Der Abgang ist eher mittel mit Rauch und Eiche.
