On 20 February 2026, you will have the opportunity to taste three of the excellent Speyburn Single Malts with Whisky.de Managing Director and Master Taster Ben Lüning and Jürgen Deibel. Jürgen Deibel is the author of numerous books and Germany's first full-time spirits expert. On the tasting day, starting at 19:00, the two professionals will take on the Speyburn matured in rum casks, the 15-year-old and the 18-year-old Single Malt in their drams and talk about interesting background information, the Speyside distillery and what the whiskies have to offer in terms of flavour. Speyburn is one of Scotland's most beautifully situated distilleries. Brothers John and Edward Hopkins founded the distillery in 1897, the year chosen for the opening because Queen Victoria celebrated her 60-year reign in 1897. Look forward to an extensive live tasting with three treasures from Speyside! At 20:00, the tasting will also be held in English .
