Product description
Takamaka St. Andre Zepis Kreol Rum showcases the Seychelles-based distillery's maturation and blending skills. Seychelles sugar cane rum traditionally distilled on Pot Stills and matured in medium charred French oak barrels is combined with three-year-old molasses rum matured in ex-bourbon barrels and married with an 8-year-old Bajan Foursquare molasses rum. Bottled at 45.1%, without sugar or colouring. Due to a lack of chill filtration, natural sediment particles may appear in the liquid of the bottles. These can be filtered out by using a simple coffee filter when pouring and are harmless to health.

The Distillery:
In 2002, the two rum-enthusiastic brothers Richard and Bernard d'Offay founded the only rum distillery Takamaka, Trois Frères Distillery
in the Seychelles. It is located on the island of Mahé and has produced Takamaka Bay Rum, which goes back to a family recipe of the grandfather.
The sugar cane is grown specifically for rum production. In addition to Rhum Agricole, Spiced Rum, traditionally called Rhum Arrangé, is produced.
