The Tamdhu Gran Reserva V is an exclusive Speyside Single Malt Whisky that has been specially created for discerning travellers and for a long time was only available in international travel retail. The limited bottling is matured 100% in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks made from European oak, which gives it exceptional depth, complex sherry notes and fine spices. Compared to classic Tamdhu bottlings, which mature in sherry casks from Jerez, the Gran Reserva V impresses with its maturation in first-fill European oak casks, which give it fullness, harmonious sweetness and an elegant finish. The rich flavour and complex notes are a highlight for connoisseurs, while the elegant appearance of the fine glass bottle also makes this single malt a collector's item. The Tamdhu Gran Reserva V is the perfect companion for international travel or an exclusive gift for connoisseurs who want to discover the best of Speyside.

In Knockando inmitten der Speyside gelang es der Tamdhu Destillerie, schwierige Wirtschaftshöhen und -tiefen zu durchstehen. Dies verdankte die Brennerei hauptsächlich ihrer Zuverlässigkeit, als jahrelang bewährte Komponente für Blends von Highland Distillers. Tamdhu verfolgte schon immer den "Can-Dhu-Spirit". Seit 2011 gehört die Brennerei Ian Macleod Distillers, die mittlerweile mit der Erneuerung der Marke begonnen und den Tamdhu Single Malt erfolgreich vermarktet haben. read more
