Product description
This Teeling Riesling Cask is now the third release from the collaboration between the Irish distillery Teeling and the German winery Reichsrat von Buhl. The small batch bottling matured for 18 months in hand-picked Grand Cru Riesling casks from the estate's own stock. The best Riesling wines are grown in cooler climes and many top vineyards in Germany are planted with this grape variety.

Aroma: Künstliche starke Süße, überreifes Obst, kleine alkoholische Note, dummerweise habe ich auch etwas Metall. Den ersten fand ich super. Bin hier gerade direkt nach dem Öffnen der Flasche und 20 Minuten im Glas durch die metallische Note enttäuscht.


Geschmack: Klebrig süß, limette, Tannine, zimt, vanille, fruchtig, wieder etwas metallisch, Prickeln auf der Zunge

Abgang: Mittellang, Eichenwürze, geht spürbar ins Bittere


Kommentar: Nach einigen Tagen hat er sich positiv verändert. Nun würziger und weniger künstlich.
