Product description
Thy Single Malt is made from 100% barley grown, malted and distilled by the farm distillery itself. This limited edition bottling has been matured in carefully selected old Pedro Ximénez casks, which have been stored in the distillery's warehouse for a long time and originally come from Jerez, Spain. The Gyrup family estate is home to the distillery, which is located on its own organic farm. All the grains used to make the whiskies are grown there and there is enough space in their own malt house to produce organic malt for a number of other Danish and international breweries and distilleries. Thy is an idyllic place in the north-west of Denmark, whose landscape and terroir characterise the distillery's bottlings from the field to the bottle.

Kommentar: Ich könnte diesen tollen Whisky zum ersten Mal in Gyrup probieren. Es war eine unbeschreibliche Erfahrung.

PX 100%, Sehr gute Sherry Note von anscheinend hochwertigen Fass.. Für den jungen Alter sehr gut eingebundener Alkohol. Angenehm ölig, warm im Abgang! Nachdem die Flasche ein wenig atmen konnte schmeckt und richt man ein kleinen Hauch von Rauch. Leicht nach Schinken. Lecker!
