Product description
The Tomatin Marsala belongs to the Italian Collection. All bottlings of the limited series were distilled on 6 December 2010 and bottled in June 2023 without chill filtering or the addition of colour. Aged for 10 years in traditional Scotch whisky oak casks and then refined for a further two years in Marsala wine casks from Italy, the result is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky that combines the art of Scottish distilling with flavourful facets from Italy. Marsala is a fortified wine that owes its name to the port city in Sicily. Its taste is mostly characterised by spicy facets of almonds, honey and subtle vanilla notes.

The Distillery: Tomatin
Tomatin has been a rising star among the Scottish distilleries since the beginning of the millennium. The Highland distillery was the biggest Scottish distillery in the 1970, but the quality of the Whisky wasn’t high regarded. Ups and downs followed and after been new positioned from 2000 onwards Tomatin grew to be one of the most reputable Scottish Whisky brands worldwide.
