The V-Sinne Aldebaran Spirit is a creation of the V-Sinne Schwarzwald distillery. The spirit consists of 95% malt whisky. With an alcohol content of 38%, the Aldebaran Spirit is an exclusive fan article for true Star Trek fans, also known as Trekkies. Gins have been handcrafted from carefully selected botanicals at the V-Sinne Black Forest distillery since 2016. As the team at the German distillery attaches great importance to quality, all releases are produced in small batches. Quality before quantity.
The producers explain the history of the high-proof creation as follows: "Inspired by the Aldebaran Whiskey, which appears in the famous episode "Relics" of "Star Trek: The Next Generation", we have created a drink that does justice to the myth. In this episode, the crew of the USS Enterprise-D discovers the Dyson Sphere relic and finds Montgomery "Scotty" Scott, the chief engineer of the original USS Enterprise. In an unforgettable scene, Lieutenant Commander Data offers Scotty a glass of Aldebaran whiskey, which Data describes with the words: It is... it is... it is green." This limited edition of our Aldebaran Spirit is a must-have for all Star Trek fans and spirit collectors."
